Transitioning to New Management

We continue to provide tailored support to the Board of an Aboriginal run organisation to transition towards a management model designed to build the internal governance capacity of the organisation into the future.

Our work has included supporting the Board of Directors to:

  • Retain and manage a book keeper and accountant to restore and maintain financial records;
  • Provide practical, one-on-one governance training for Board members;
  • Conduct a productive and successful Annual General Meeting;
  • Recruit a professional CEO to lead the organisation and establish a framework for supporting and managing the performance of the CEO in the future;
  • Recruit Independent Directors to provide ongoing support and mentoring to the Board.
