Elizabeth (‘Lyb’) Makin is a Client Project Manager for Indigenous Corporate Partners and assists ICP’s clients with strategic and operational planning, facilitating governance workshops, developing appropriate policies and procedures, drafting submissions for funding and providing strategic advice on relationship development.
Lyb is a solicitor and who has previously worked at Chalk & Behrendt Lawyers (formerly Chalk & Fitzgerald Lawyers), where she assisted clients with future act matters under the Native Title Act. Lyb has also provided legal support to First Nations of Canada, through a legal internship with West Coast Environmental Law in Vancouver.
Lyb has 9 years’ experience working in and for the not-for-profit sector, including work for The Wilderness Society and Down Syndrome NSW.
